Import theater show script and convert it into surtitles or supertitles.

Create subtitles for your show by importing its script

No more annoying copy-pasting line after line. Convert your script to theatre subtitles using AI.
Available for macOS and Windows.
STEP 1

Choose file to import

Import your script in DOCX. Our import can process most theatre scripts and opera librettos.

NOTE: For librettos, you need to create a new file and remove all musical writing.

STEP 3

Go make yourself a cup of coffee

Importing will take few minutes. You'll be able to see first few lines in about 2 minutes, but the full import may take up to 15 minutes, depending on length of your script.

STEP 4

You have your captions!

Now it's time to polish them! AI automatically divides lines that are too long into multiple captions. If a caption is still long, it will be marked as "Too long" (yellow dot on the left side of table).

You can create a translation using AI, or you can invite a translator as a collaborator.

Try it out yourself!

Great software that does exactly what is needed, except for few features that are announced but to yet available. Keep up with the good work!

The app makes captioning an easy task, allowing us to caption more shows than ever before, it has brought a positive change for us (previously we were using PowerPoint). I highly recommend you give it a try!
Maria Pinto

We have been using Captitles for a few months, and we're definitely going to stick with it. The import and translation features alone have saved us countless hours of work, and I'm looking forward to the other features that have been promised for the app (especially for the option to invite colleagues!)
