Think Siri,
but for theatre captioning

How does it work

Overhead microphone collects sound

Connect overhead stage microphone to the computer running Captitles. If you're using ports, simply connect the 'OUT' from your mixer to the computer that operates Captitles. Make sure that the microphone does not collect any unnecessary noises, or too much music - focus on making the speech as clear as possible.

Captitles AI detects spoken word

We implement word detection on the sound coming from the stage, then the algorithm searches for the nearest caption with proper match. The algorithm can handle improvisation or errors - if something goes wrong on stage, it shows no surtitles. Then, when the show is back on track, it continues screening the right captions.

Subtitles are synced

But if needed, the surtitle operator can still influence what is displayed on screen. If something gets wrong (lines are skipped, or the show became a little too improvised), Captitles automatically cuts off the sceening - and waits until the actors are back on track. Then it resumes screening.
